about

'One long and gorgeous ambient piece that starts out with hypnotic repeated piano figures before extensively layered e-bow guitar lines lay an autumnal chill across the spectral melancholy.' Boa Melody Bar

Inspired by time spent on the east coast of Spain between two full moons during the summer of 2009, The Lunar Arcane was recorded live at Grandad's Delay Pedal in the Passionfruit Theatre, Athlone on August 20th 2010. It was the only Agitated Radio Pilot gig that year & the result of much encouragement from Seán O'Teimhneain, who also recorded it. The Lunar Arcane is dedicated to Michael Tanner & Richard Moult.

'Maybe Spain is the open-faced smile
From some life I saw in a movie
& always thought I'd live...'

Physical copies of this EP, which was released on my own home-brewed Dirt Music imprint, are still available here - www.apexonline.com/melodybar/
It appears as a bonus track on 'In The Event Of My Disappearance' as I really felt like it should be on cd & seemed to fit with the theme of that album. That album is now available here - shop.pest666.com/midnight-records.html

about

Agitated Radio Pilot Ireland

'Colohan seems to have a preternatural sense of the elemental, those dark places we all go to take off our disguises. So many artists have treaded this ground before and seemed insincere, but Colohan's vulnerability, his human voice that presents these unadorned truths without spin or motive, makes me want to listen and believe.'
